🐰 Funny Bunnies & Full Plates

Hey friends πŸ‘‹πŸ’•

I’ve been working my tail off (pun intended) on my latest Etsy drop, and I’m beyond excited to finally share it with you! 🎨✨ Say hello to Funny Bunnies—a whimsical, expressive, and oh-so-adorable Easter clip art collection now live in my Etsy shop: maggieprintzcharming.etsy.com πŸ›’πŸ’»

These bunnies are not just cute… they’re funny, charming, and have enough personality to hop right off the screen and into your next DIY project, planner page, or pastel spring party invite. 63 high-res PNGs, all made with love (and a whole lotta coffee).

Now, let’s be real—I’ve been burning both ends of the candle πŸ•―️πŸ’»
By day, I’m on the phone non-stop working my .com center job at CVS Health. By night, I’m designing clip art with enough caffeine in my veins to glow in the dark. Honestly, I’ve talked so much this week that the sound of my own voice is starting to feel like nails on a chalkboard. πŸ˜…

Meanwhile, my sweet sidekick Lincoln (aka my furry pillow thief) has been quietly supervising the whole operation from my bed. His eyes say "you good?" but his tail says "come cuddle me already, woman."

So before I shuffle off to snuggle that good boy and call it a night, I want to leave you with this:

πŸ’– A Little Prayer for My Busy, Tired Sisters:

Dear God,
Thank You for giving us the strength to do all the things—sometimes too many things.
Wrap Your arms around every woman reading this.
Give her rest that restores, peace that calms, and grace for the things that didn’t get done.
She’s doing her best, and You see her.
Amen.

Tomorrow we kick off the week with Meal & Mindset Monday (because what we feed ourselves matters—body and soul), and the return of Hard Question of the Day (you know it’s gonna get real).

Until then, keep showing up, even if you’re showing up in slippers and a messy bun.
Love you mean it πŸ’•

Maggie and Lincoln

Hard Question of the Day :“How do you respond to compliments? Do you believe them?”

How someone responds to compliments often says a lot about their self-perception and comfort with praise. Some folks light up and say “thank you” with a smile, while others get shy, deflect, or even downplay it entirely — like, “Oh, this old thing?”

Be honest, babe—

Do you smile and say “thank you” like a graceful goddess?
Or do you spiral into a full-blown “they’re just being nice” monologue in your head while nervously laughing and suddenly finding your shoes very interesting?

Let’s talk about it.

Compliments can feel like glitter bombs to the soul... or awkward little landmines, depending on the day (and our self-esteem levels). So tell me:

  • Do you soak them in like sunshine?

  • Do you dodge them like a rogue flying insect?

  • Do you secretly love them but pretend you don’t? πŸ‘€

If someone has a hard time accepting or believing compliments, here are some interesting and effective exercises that may help!

 1. Start with a Simple “Thank You”

Even if you don’t fully believe it yet, accepting the compliment graciously is the first step. You don’t have to agree with it, just receive it. A simple “thank you” lets the other person feel heard and begins to shift your mindset, too.

 2. Examine Why It Feels Uncomfortable

Ask yourself:

  • Do I feel unworthy of praise?

  • Am I afraid of seeming arrogant?

  • Does it make me feel seen in a way I’m not used to?

Understanding the root of the discomfort can help reframe how you experience compliments.

3. Try Flipping the Script

If your best friend received the same compliment, would you believe it about them? Probably yes. So what makes you the exception? Spoiler: you’re not. πŸ˜‰

 4. Keep a Compliment Log

Write them down. Seriously. Every time someone says something nice, log it. Over time, you’ll start to see patterns — and repeated praise isn’t a fluke, it’s evidence.

 5. Practice Self-Compassion

The truth is, if you’ve lived with self-doubt or criticism (from others or yourself), it takes time to unlearn it. Be gentle. You don’t have to believe every compliment right away — but give yourself permission to consider that they might be true.

Drop your truth in the comments or just reflect on it while you reapply your lip gloss and conquer the day. πŸ’–

You deserve to hear nice things—and believe them, too.

xoxo,
Maggie

Let’s Get Deep, Darling: One Difficult Question a Day

Hey babe,

Let’s talk.

Not about the weather (unless it's a metaphor for your mood), not about what you had for lunch (unless it changed your life), and not about that ex who still watches your stories (although… we will circle back to that).

I’m talking about the real stuff. The soul-stretching, heart-thumping, occasionally tear-jerking, occasionally eye-roll-worthy kind of stuff: life. Love. Emotions. Purpose. Mindfulness. Growth. All the messy magic in between.

✨ Welcome to the Q(ueen) of Questions series. πŸ’…

Here’s the deal:
Every day, I’m posting One Difficult Question.
Just one.
Simple, right?

But oh honey, don’t be fooled by the glittery packaging. These questions are meant to poke at the parts of you you usually keep zipped up in a hoodie and hidden behind “I’m fine.” They’re raw. They’re real. They’re designed to make you pause, breathe, and feel something.

πŸ“ What’s the vibe?

  • Sometimes deep and thoughtful.

  • Sometimes romantic and heartbreaking.

  • Sometimes weirdly therapeutic.

  • Always real.

And I want you to join me. Share your thoughts in the comments, your feels in the DMs, or even just whisper the answer to yourself in the mirror while doing your skincare. There’s no wrong way to reflect—just start.

πŸ’Œ Why am I doing this?

Because being a human is hard, okay?!
We spend so much time on auto-pilot, pretending we’re totally chill while our hearts are doing backflips. I want to build a space where it’s safe (and kind of fun?) to explore those tough questions we usually shove under the bed with the unmatched socks and the emotional baggage.

So. Are you in?

Check back for today’s question — and don’t be shy. Whether you drop a one-word answer or an essay with footnotes, your voice matters. πŸ–€

Until then: hydrate, breathe, and know that you're already doing better than you think.

With love, sass, and probably tears,

Maggie

Oh Look, I’m That Girl With an Etsy Shop 😘

You know that girl—the one who’s constantly buried under glitter, fonts, and coffee mugs while muttering “I could totally make that” at every Target endcap? Yeah. Hi. That’s me.

Somehow, between wrangling real life, chasing dreams, and trying to remember where I put my keys (oh, I don't drive...I meant where I put my glasses...yeah yeah...my glasses...and my sanity), I became her—the proud owner of an Etsy shop. Not just any shop, darling. This is the home of gifts, graphics, clothing, digital products, and novelties that scream “I’m extra, but make it functional.”

Let me break it down for you:

  • Need a planner that actually makes you want to plan? Got you.

  • Want a sassy sweatshirt that says what you're thinking? I made it yesterday.

  • Looking for clip art to make your own cute stuff? I’ve got folders for days.

  • Last-minute gift emergency? My shop is basically a digital 7-Eleven of cuteness.

Honestly, it's kind of a miracle I haven’t drowned in my own digital downloads or choked on vinyl scraps. But I’m thriving, Etsy’s thriving, and Lincoln (my Havanese shop supervisor) is napping through it all like a boss.

So if you're into gifts that don’t suck, graphics that pop, and digital goodies that are cute and useful, come visit my shop. Support your friendly neighborhood sass queen.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have ten tabs open, a sweatshirt to design, and a coffee that’s gone cold—but like, in an aesthetic way.

Oh Hey, Welcome to Ashes to Armor! πŸ’…πŸΎ

Well, well, well... look who stumbled into my little corner of the internet!

I’m Maggie—student of life, aspiring Health & Life Coach (certification in progress thank you very much), and proud dog mom to Lincoln, my fluffy Havanese shadow who’s basically the co-author of this blog. Don't get it twisted,  he runs the show, I just pay the bills.

I'm a breast cancer survivor (12 years strong πŸ™Œ), proud mom to two amazing grown-up humans (Fish and Ladybug—yes, those are their names and yes, they’re fabulous), and grandma to six grandbabies who keep my heart full and my house loud.

I was diagnosed with Systolic Heart Disease in January 2023. And instead of shrinking (I've spent the last two years spiraling down the rabbit hole like Alice on crack!), I have decided to show up bigger and better. This blog is part of that. I’m starting over, stepping up, and choosing me—with love, intention, and a whole lot of faith. God’s got me, and I trust Him every day, even when the road feels wild.

This space is where my brain, heart, and planner all come to hang out. I’m in school right now getting certified to help people feel better in their bodies, minds, and lives—and I figured, why not bring you along for the ride?

Here’s what you’ll find around here:

  • Wellness vibes – from mindset shifts to smoothie recipes (that don’t taste like grass)

  • Self-growth realness – journaling, boundaries, balance, and yes, burnout talk too

  • Everyday life – school updates, routines, and me trying to be That Girl™ but still needing snacks every hour

  • Dog content, obviously – Lincoln is small, fluffy, mildly dramatic, and the love of my life

  • Life stuff – the wins, the fails, and all the messy middle parts

  • Style inspo – whether it’s outfits, moods, or just vibes

  • Thought dumps – my brain has no chill and now it has a blog

  • Probably food – because I eat like it’s a hobby (it is isn't it?)

  • Wellness & life coaching inspo – I’m learning to guide others while I grow myself

  • Faith-filled real talk – God is my anchor, and I trust Him through every plot twist

  • Digital design magic – from clip art to planners, I design all the cute things you want on mugs, tumblers, tees, journals, and beyond

  • Organized chaos – digital planners, journals, and tools to make life easier (and prettier)

  • Family love & dog energy – grandkid giggles, grown-kid wisdom, and Lincoln living his best pampered life

  • And... the Freebie Vault πŸŽ‰ – yup, I said it. A whole stash of goodies just for you: recipes, clip art graphics, printable and digital planners, printable and digital coloring books and
pages, journals, and so much more. All free. All fabulous.

  • And did I mention Food?

Whether you’re here for inspo, real talk, or just the cute dog pics (no shame), I’m so glad you stopped by. This is where I get honest, weird, and maybe a little too into my feelings—but always with heart. If you’re into real talk, a bit of sparkle, and not taking life too seriously, stick around. This blog is for anyone who’s ever felt like life knocked them down—but they got back up anyway. With some lipstick, a prayer, and a playlist. If that’s you? Pull up a chair. We’re gonna have fun.

Now that you’re here, don’t be shy—Drop a comment, share your favorite cozy drink, and let’s be internet besties.
